Our Plan To Support Patients During This Difficult Time
New Office Hours: Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
To maximize the safety of our patients, staff, and their families, we are adopting the following "WORK SAFE" modifications to our operations, beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2020. These modifications will remain in effect until change of order by local, state, and federal governments. At that time, our normal patient care approach will resume.
CHIROPRACTIC CARE - WE ARE SUSPENDING ALL ADJUSTMENTS AT THIS TIME AND WILL PROVIDE VIDEO/PHONE CONSULTS ONLY.
The Chiropractic Adjustment removes nerve interference and is the foundation of all that we do to help patients regain and maintain health. However, the chiropractic adjustment puts doctor, staff and patients in close proximity, which is discouraged at this time. Although not ideal, we will support our chiropractic patients in the following ways:
- CORRECTIVE CARE CHIRO PATIENTS: The doctor will be available for video and phone consultation appointments only, to address recommendations for acute pain, discomfort, and other symptoms. This consultation service may or may not be allowed and/or covered by medical insurance.
- WELLNESS CARE CHIRO PATIENTS: We want you to maintain your alignment as well as you can. This means practicing the information taught in our spinal care class during activities of daily living. Remember to stretch and exercise to minimize misalignments. Also, remember to primarily sleep on your back with a bolster supporting your neck. Continue to use your cervical pillow.
NUTRITION CARE - WE ARE PROVIDING A CHOICE OF IN-PERSON OR VIDEO/PHONE SUPPORT .
- NUTRITION PATIENTS are encouraged to continue their care during this stressful time. We are offering our nutritional services in two ways:
Zoom video Session - From the safety and comfort of your home, you can meet with Dr Collins online. We are reducing the fee for follow-up nutrition visits from $75 to $48 while we utilize this new online method of care.
In-Office Sessions - These sessions operate in the way you are accustomed. However, for added safety, Dr. Collins will be utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for your session. In addition, we will have only one patient in the office at a time. We ask that you wait in our larger elevator lobby outside of the office, or in your car until we are ready for your visit.
- SUPPLEMENT REFILLS may be purchased by phone for pick-up at our office, or at our office curb-side. Supplements can also be direct-shipped to patients for a minimal shipping fee.
We feel that this approach will help us protect patients and staff; provide on-going support for patients, and balance the challenge of keeping our doors open to serve patients for the long-run.
